Kendall Teal, Attorney at Law, LLC
After serving in the military, Kendall earned her Doctor of Law from the prestigious Emory University. While at Emory Law, Kendall served as president of the Emory Veterans Association and interned as a judicial law clerk for Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker.
During law school, Kendall received accolades for achieving the highest grade among her peers in both legal writing and torts. She also earned certificates from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in Advanced Trial Techniques and Deposition Skills. Kendall was hand-selected by Emory Law’s acclaimed Charles Howard Candler Professor, Morgan Cloud, to serve as a research assistant on issues involving Fourth Amendment privacy rights implicated by ever-evolving technology and surveillance in the twenty-first century.
Kendall attended college in New York and earned her Bachelor of Science in English, with honors in English writing. She was nominated and appointed to the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society for exceptional writing ability and was named to her university’s Dean’s List for achieving a superior grade point average. While a full-time student in college, Kendall earned New York State’s Firefighter I Certification and served as a volunteer interior firefighter.
Kendall has extensive jury trial experience and is known among her peers for her intimidating and commanding courtroom decorum. She has an impressive track record of wins across Georgia. Kendall is driven by the call to serve and prides herself on defending accused persons and speaking out loudly against racial injustice in the criminal justice system. Unlike many other Atlanta-based attorneys, Kendall only handles criminal defense cases.
In her spare time, Kendall enjoys being outdoors, riding her Harley Davidson, and fishing in Georgia’s beautiful lakes and rivers.
Kendall is an experienced trial lawyer licensed to practice before all the lower courts in Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court.
